We’re seeking a Level 2 CNC Operator to machine high-performance cylinder heads on 4-axis Makino A81and DMG machining centers, producing components that power serious horsepower.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain the readiness of CNC machines, including indicating axis, etc.

  • Prioritize individual workflow to operate multiple CNC machines efficiently to hit productivity goals.

  • Prepare castings for CNC machining including the installation of components.

  • Deburr, wash, and pressure test parts.

  • Assist with setups including changing fixtures, tools, measuring tools, and program changes.

  • Perform all required quality inspections to ensure product meets or exceeds quality standards.

  • Report labor, productivity, and other KPI’s promptly and accurately.

  • Follow all established processes and safety procedures.

  • Monitor inventory of cutting tools and machining supplies.

  • Perform basic machine troubleshooting

  • Perform PM’s as scheduled and ensure that all machines are properly maintained.

  • Assist in development and training of Level 1 CNC Operators and identifying training needs of the team.

  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High school graduate, Minimum of 5 years machining experience in a production environment.

Must have:

  • Hands-on operation experience with CNC machining centers.

  • 4 or 5-axis VMC and or HMC experience.

  • Fanuc Pro 3 or Pro 5 controller experience a plus.

  • Experience with measuring and gauging equipment.

SHIFT:

1st shift - Monday - Friday, 6am -2:30pm

3rd shift: Monday - Friday, 1am - 9:30am
