Based out of our Tamaqua location we are accepting applications for a qualified Diesel Mechanic / Shop
Foreman, who is willing to bring top notch skills and the ability to grow within an exceptional organization.


Required Skills/Abilities

  • Extensive knowledge of all aspects of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to verbally communicate in a positive manner with co-workers to accurately solve issues
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records to track parts and labor to track costs and submit to
    management
  • Ability to solve the most minor issue to prevent costly repairs later
  • Perform all duties in accordance with best practices in mind for a safe work environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience working with heavy trucks and equipment
  • Valid CDL Driver's License
  • Pennsylvania Class 3 Inspection license (or willingness to obtain)

Requirements

  • Ability to pass an extensive background check is required by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License
  • Must have own tools
  • Ability to perform repairs off site
  • Ability to stand and work for an extended period of time
  • Have full range of movements including bending, reaching, crouching and be able to lift 75+ lbs.

Work Environment

  • You will be working in all weather conditions at times and exposed to loud noise and moving
    parts
  • Required safety equipment will be provided with a yearly reimbursement for safety toe shoes

Compensation will be discussed at the time of interview which includes an excellent health coverage
plan; available (after 30 days of employment) medical, dental, eye and prescription. Bi-weekly
contribution amount will be discussed at the time of interview along with eligible family members.
