Wharton-Smith, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Field Engineer to work in the Water/Wastewater Division in the Brooksville, FL area. The successful candidate will be responsible for successful completion of field tasks as assigned by the Project Superintendent and Craft Foreman.

Responsibilities:

Layout and surveying
Maintaining as-builts
Assist with developing work plans
Subcontractor coordination
Material ordering/tracking/logging
Reviewing contract documents
Submittal development and review
Quality control
Safety review

Technical Skills:

Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Survey/Layout knowledge
Communication skills

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or other relevant degree.
