Paramedic - Hospital at Home

The Paramedic provides technical assistance and performs selected acts, including the administration of treatments, under the supervision of the Hospital at Home Physician and/or Registered Nurse. The Paramedic is accountable for his/her own actions. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.

Essential Functions:

• Ensure patient and personal safety throughout care procedures.Conducts patient re-assessments as necessary.
• Establishes IV access and administers normal saline.Interprets 
• ECG readings accurately.
• Administers medication.

• Graduate of an accredited Paramedic program.
• Current EMT-P certification.
• At least two (2) years' experience as a Paramedic.
• ACLS certification.
