About the Role:

The Area Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple construction projects within a designated geographic area, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strategic planning and coordination with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to optimize resource allocation and workflow efficiency. The Area Construction Manager will lead safety initiatives and enforce compliance with all regulatory requirements to maintain a safe working environment. They will also be instrumental in resolving complex issues that arise during construction, including logistical challenges and personnel management. Ultimately, this position plays a critical role in driving the successful delivery of construction projects that meet client expectations and contribute to the company’s growth and reputation in the industry.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or area management role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes applicable in the United States.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and lead diverse teams effectively.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently within the assigned area.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Experience with construction management software and digital project tracking tools.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale residential projects.
  • Familiarity with sustainable building practices and LEED certification standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise multiple construction projects within the assigned area, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate effective communication and project execution.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance across all job sites to maintain a safe working environment.
