POSITION OVERVIEW

The Capture Manager is responsible for identifying, shaping, and advancing customer-driven opportunities from initial mission discovery through solution validation, acquisition, and transition. This individual builds direct relationships with government customers, end users, innovation organizations, and industry partners to understand operational challenges, emerging requirements, funding pathways, and acquisition timelines. Working across Endurion’s technology, business development, and operations team, the Capture Manager translates validated mission needs into viable technical concepts, demonstrations, prototypes, white papers, and executable pursuit strategies. 

The role supports opportunity qualification, competitive positioning, and the selection of appropriate acquisition pathways including OTAs and existing contract vehicles while incorporating iterative customer feedback to improve solution relevance and mission applicability. Ultimately, the Capture Manager helps position Endurion capabilities and partner technologies for funded execution, sustained acquisition, broader fielding, and adoption across SOF and other priority Department of War mission environments.

 PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Customer Discovery & Opportunity Development
  • Develop and maintain direct relationships with government customers, end users, innovation organizations, and mission stakeholders to identify operational problems, capability gaps, and emerging requirements.
  • Identify and qualify customer needs that may be addressed through rapid acquisition, existing contract vehicles, prototypes, demonstrations, or other innovative acquisition and capability-delivery approaches.
  • Translate customer problems and mission requirements into clearly defined opportunity concepts for internal evaluation and solution development.
  • Maintain awareness of customer priorities, funding pathways, acquisition timelines, and emerging demand signals relevant to assigned opportunities.
  • Engage customers early in the requirement-development lifecycle to help shape actionable solutions aligned with operational need, acquisition feasibility, and Endurion capabilities.
  1. Rapid Acquisition & Solution Development
  • Lead customer communications for assigned rapid-acquisition, innovation, and emerging capability opportunities from initial problem discovery through solution validation and transition.
  • Coordinate with Tech and other subject matter experts to translate operational gaps into viable technical concepts and solution approaches.
  • Lead or support development of white papers, concept papers, proofs of concept, demonstrations, prototypes, and other artifacts necessary to validate solutions with government customers.
  • Facilitate iterative customer feedback to refine requirements and ensure proposed capabilities remain aligned with operational needs.
  • Identify and help navigate appropriate acquisition pathways, including OTAs and existing contract vehicles, to move validated capabilities toward funded execution.
  • Support transition of successful prototypes and emerging capabilities toward sustained acquisition, broader fielding, and programs of record where appropriate.
  1. Strategic Opportunity Shaping
  • Identify, assess, and qualify opportunities leading to a pursuit decision. 
  • Conduct customer, mission, and market research to improve understanding of emerging requirements and opportunity landscapes.
  • Contribute operational and acquisition insight to pursuit strategies, customer engagement plans, competitive positioning, and solution development.
  • Help mature early-stage opportunities to a level appropriate for transition into formal Business Development and Capture processes.
  • Support opportunity qualification and strategic reviews with actionable recommendations regarding customer need, capability fit, funding potential, competitive position, and next steps.
  1. Technology & Capability Positioning
  • Work with Technology leadership to connect Endurion capabilities, partner technologies, and emerging solutions to validated customer mission needs.
  • Support technical demonstrations, experimentation, technology scouting, and customer evaluation activities.
  • Provide operational context and end-user perspective to improve the relevance, usability, and mission applicability of proposed solutions.
  • Identify capability gaps, emerging technologies, or technology partnerships that could strengthen Endurion's competitive position or create new growth opportunities.
  • Help position validated technologies and solutions for adoption across SOF and other priority DoW mission environments.
  1. Strategic Partnerships & Enterprise Collaboration
  • Support development of relationships with technology providers, industry partners, government innovation organizations, and other stakeholders capable of enabling rapid solution development.
  • Coordinate across the Endurion enterprise ensuring unity of effort around assigned opportunities.
  • Share customer insights, lessons learned, and operational knowledge across the enterprise to improve understanding of SOF and DoW customer missions, acquisition environments, and emerging requirements.
