The role you鈥檒l contribute:
The Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner functions as a member of the medical care management team for physician practice patients (Cardiology). The ARNP may diagnose medical conditions, plan and implement treatment collaboratively agreed to in the Florida Hospital Physician Group medical staff delineation of clinical privileges for Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners. Depending on the practice, ARNP may be required to take practice call.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provide services similar to those of a physician.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Examine patients, take medical histories, maintain patient records, identify health risk factors, prescribe medications, make referrals and otherwise treat health conditions.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Interpret, monitor and adjust anticoagulation therapy.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Supervision of nuclear stress tests and treadmill stress tests in the outpatient practice setting.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Will diagnose and treat in collaboration with the supervising Cardiologist, adult cardiovascular patients in addition to a variety of chronic health conditions including but not limited to diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia etc.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assess patient health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations and identifying any medical conditions.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories of patients.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Determines abnormalities by administering and/or ordering diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory studies.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Interpreting test results of patients.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Will need to work weekdays and potentially take practice some evenings and weekends.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Skilled in the use of specialized equipment used in respective area of practice
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Good organizational skills in planning/ implementing daily activities
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Leadership/mentorship/clinical resource skills
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to multi-task on a variety of tasks and projects
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Excellent organization skills
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Skilled in providing age-appropriate education regarding care management interventions and illness adjustment issues
The expertise and experiences you鈥檒l need to succeed:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 1+ year of experience as a APRN in the Cardiovascular Services Required
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Active APRN license in the State of Florida
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Valid American Heart Association (AHA) BLS & ACLS certifications
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Advanced APRN Certification
