Job Description:

This position is responsible for manning the Command Center or Podium as assigned to dispatch security personnel, receive incoming calls, and maintain required log books.

 

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Provides basic security coverage ensuring that adequate protection is provided for the safety and assets of patrons, employees and the company
  • Ensures that proper security is provided for all transfers of monies within the casino and hotel areas of the complex
  • Conducts themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, and Seminole Tribe of Florida/departmental policies and procedures
  • Prepares detailed incident reports in a clear and precise manner
  • Operates and monitors the fire alarm and security CCTV systems
  • Maintains accurate security incident logs
  • Operates and monitors all holdup alarm systems
  • Implements notification process in emergency situations i.e., fire, bomb threat, weather emergencies, etc
  • Assists in the coordination of emergency situations
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required and a minimum of one (1) year of related experience preferred, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must apply for, obtain and remain eligible for the appropriate Seminole Tribal Gaming License
  • Valid Motor Vehicle License with good driving record
  • Must be able to complete standard company forms and reports
