JOB SUMMARY:

Completes numerous job duties that capture various levels of data that is used by the Underwriters and supports their ability to properly analyze a risk.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Communicates with co-workers, management, clients, vendors, and others in a courteous and professional manner.

• Maintains the integrity of the company and products offered by complying with federal and state regulations as well as company policies and procedures.

• Updates and maintains logs accurately to track workflow through the department.

• Inputs data into the policy system accurately.

• Communicates with agents for required information, tracks, and follows up as needed.

• Issues documents and reports to agents as required.

• Sets up and/or maintains policy files in order per company procedures, labeling e-mails and/or documents accurately and adding detailed notes where needed.

• Uses various websites to obtain various data points necessary to support the underwriter in assessing a risk.

• Answers phones, assisting with inquiries, or transferring calls to the correct recipient.

• Carries out all tasks within the required timelines.

• Participates in special projects as assigned.

• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

WORK EXPERIENCE PREFERRED (Optional):
