Shift: - Friday: 9:00am-7:30pm | Saturday, Sunday and Monday:5:00am to 3:30pm.

Start Pay Range: $22.00


Objectives/Purpose of the Job:

The job function and responsibility are for compounding sterile finished bulk products.


Key Activities/Responsibilities:

•    Performs nonsterile and aseptic compounding activities per batch record documentation.
•    Compounds Level 1 batches proficiently (simple sterile solutions).
•    Documents information correctly in batch records, CAMS (operator access level), and area logbooks.
•    Reviews and verifies batch record entries. Assists with compounding of Level 2 and 3 batches.
•    Prepares major and miscellaneous compounding equipment for use.
•    Cleans equipment and performs rinse water testing.
•    Assists in the sterilization of compounding equipment.
•    Performs filter integrity testing. Prepares filters for sterilization.
•    Performs daily and weekly scale calibration checks. Weighs materials not already preweighed and staged for the batch.
•    Cleans, disinfects, and maintains the Nonsterile Compounding area.
•    Meets and maintains all required training during the year (SOP, EHS, and HR).
•    Supports operational excellence and EHS initiatives.
•    Assumes responsibility for GMP, ISO, and EHS awareness and compliance within the respective area.
•    Attends and participates in OpEx improvement initiatives, such as reducing costs and improving OEE.
•    All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications/Training:

•    High school diploma required.
•    Cleaning experience in a health care, manufacturing or other commercial setting or someone with general manufacturing experience (non-technical).
•    Mechanical aptitude preferred.
•    Able to work quickly and under pressure.
•    Good documentation, computer, and math skills.
•    Must be detail-oriented and quality-conscious.
•    Good team-oriented and excellent communication skills.
•    Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

 

This position may be available in the following location: US - Tampa, FL
