As a Condo Maintenance Technician, you will help keep our property’s exterior and common areas safe, clean, and well maintained. This role focuses on preventative maintenance, routine inspections, and the upkeep of outdoor spaces and amenities to ensure a positive experience for owners and guests.
Responsibilities
Condo Maintenance Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintain building exteriors, walkways, parking areas, lighting, fencing, and signage
Complete minor repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting touch-ups, etc.)
Support landscaping needs alongside our landscaping partner
Maintain pool area cleanliness and safety, including monitoring chemicals and basic upkeep
Perform pressure washing, daily sweeping/mopping of common areas, and restroom cleaning
Manage trash areas and move dumpsters for scheduled pickups
Conduct routine inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns
Maintain adequate supplies and follow all safety and chemical handling procedures
Perform all job duties with a minimum of disruption to the guest
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
What are we looking for?
- Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality business, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the resort, including weekends and holidays
- Prior experience in general maintenance
- Able to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed
- Knowledge of hotel operations is a plus
- A friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with guests
- Passion for providing exceptional service to guests and team members
- Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with guests, coworkers and supervisors
