Job DetailsJob Location: Main Colonial - Tampa, FL 33610Position Type: Full TimeJob Purpose The primary function of the Custodian is managing the overall facility appearance.   Duties and Responsibilities Pick up and transport trash & waste to proper disposal areas Straighten areas, such as warehouse isles Restroom cleaning Stock restrooms Window cleaning Clean ashtrays Empty recycle boxes Cardboard break down Warehouse floor cleaning Operate compactor-NO repairs or jam fixes Maintain a safe work environment for employees and customers while performing required duties Observation of all OSHA rules and regulations Performs other duties as assigned  QualificationsQualifications 1 year of custodial experience preferred Previous experience within a warehouse environment. May be required to use hand tools. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance and up to 140 pounds with assistance Must be able to walk, stand, climb, kneel, reach, crawl, push, pull and twist the majority of the day Must display very good organization and time management skills Responsiveness – Responding positively to requests in a timely manner. Ability to change tasks or assignments outside normal duties Work in a team environment Bi-Lingual in Spanish a plus Must have reliable transportation Must be dependable with excellent attendance   Working conditions This position is performed in Warehouse environments.   Physical requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Job frequently requires standing, handling objects with hands, standing, walking, reaching, talking, hearing, and lifting over 50 lbs. Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties.   Department or Location Located in Tampa   Preferred Education or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or at least six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.   Position type/ Expected Hours of work This is a full-time non-exempt position. This position may be required to work overtime. 1st shift 6am-2:30pm
