Onsite in Tampa, FloridaÂ
Must be able to work in-office and attend local project-related meetings as neededÂ
What You’ll Be Doing:Â
You’ll support and manage the estimating process across a wide range of projects ($100K–$5M+), including healthcare, hospitality, retail, restaurants, schools, manufacturing, multifamily, and industrial work.Â
Day-to-day, you’ll:Â
Review plans, specifications, and drawings to determine scope of workÂ
Prepare detailed estimates using Accubid or similar estimating softwareÂ
Analyze estimates to ensure accuracy and completenessÂ
Request and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricingÂ
Identify qualified suppliers and ensure quotes align with project requirementsÂ
Quantify labor, materials, tools, equipment, and other project costsÂ
Assist in preparing complete and competitive bid packagesÂ
Collaborate with leadership to review scope, pricing, and technical details prior to submissionÂ
Support project turnover by clearly communicating estimate details to project teamsÂ
Draft scope inclusions, exclusions, and clarificationsÂ
Provide value engineering ideas and cost-saving recommendationsÂ
Qualifications:Â
3+ years of electrical estimating experienceÂ
Experience with Accubid LiveCount and/or Bluebeam preferredÂ
Strong understanding of electrical construction processes across various project typesÂ
Knowledge of electrical codes and installation methodsÂ
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentÂ
Strong communication and interpersonal skillsÂ
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)Â
Field experience preferredÂ
Compensation:Â
$75,000 – $100,000 base salaryÂ
