Facilities Maintenance Technician II

Location: Tampa

You will perform hands‑on maintenance activities and support critical site operations that enable our teams to deliver high‑quality products.

What you will do:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and minor electrical equipment.
  • Complete building inspections and support upkeep of walls, ceilings, lighting, cleanrooms, and general facility areas.
  • Monitor utility systems such as purified water, compressed air, chilled water, and HVAC through routine rounds and BMS checks.
  • Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical issues, including outlets, switches, lighting circuits, and small equipment panels.
  • Document all maintenance activities in the CMMS following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Support contractors on-site, ensuring adherence to safety, GMP expectations, and defined scopes of work.
  • Follow all EHS procedures, including LOTO, confined space requirements, and emergency response protocols.

What we are looking for:

  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience in facilities or utilities maintenance within a GMP-regulated environment.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, including motors, pumps, valves, and basic control circuits.
  • Ability to perform HVAC preventive tasks such as filter changes, belt checks, coil cleaning, and system monitoring.
  • Familiarity with purified water, compressed air, steam traps, and other utility systems.
  • Experience using a CMMS to complete work orders and document repairs accurately.
  • Ability to interpret diagrams, schematics, and trend data to identify abnormal conditions.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and reliable operation in a fast-paced pharmaceutical setting.
