Position Summary

The Department of Resource Management is seeking a Foundation Financial Administrator who supports College of Engineering Departments and faculty. The position reconciles all accounts, including E&G, grants, USF Foundation, Research Foundation, rebate accounts, and auxiliary accounts. This position also receives sub-award invoices for voucher payments This position is responsible for recommending, developing, and/or implementing accounting and financial control policies at the department level. After awards are made, the position provides guidance to faculty on administrative steps such as setting up accounts and hiring students and staff. A Foundation Financial Administrator does not support a single research program or monitor compliance for a single contract or grant but instead works with many projects. The work is distinguished from general administrative support positions by consulting on a variety of projects and acting as a technical expert in fiscal administration.
