The IRT Tech 3 will perform radiographic procedures according to protocols established for various age groups of patients, at a technical level not requiring

constant supervision. In addition, this role performs a wide variety of radiology, neurology, and endovascular procedures at a level I Trauma Center.

Procedures including, but not limited to vertebroplasty, angioplasty, stent placements, vascular and embolization procedures. These exams will require

independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to assist the interventionalist in treatment. Assumes responsibility for designated area or procedures as

required. Assesses the age-specific needs of the patients. Under supervision of the Radiology Intervention Section Manager and according to established

policies and procedures for various age groups of patients, performs diagnostic and invasive procedures to assist Interventional Physicians and Surgeons in

the diagnosis and treatment of illness. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of TGH.



Graduate of a two-year AMA accredited radiologic technology program. Registered ARRT (RT & IRT). Current CPR certification. Florida Licensure or will have 90 days to become licensed to practice as Radiologic Technologist by State of Florida. Will not be able to perform exams prior to evidence of licensure. 路 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in a hospital diagnostic imaging department. 路 Must meet skill level competency of IRT Tech 3
