Altamira is searching for a Data Scientist in Tampa, Florida.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for overall data science and data characterization technologies and will report to the on-site program manager.
Assess technology development and evaluate its operational usefulness and eventually demonstrate the technology capability through test and evaluation.
Results must be documented in writing and communicated both verbally and through multi-media methods to senior management.
Must have TS/SCI clearance to start and the willingness/ability to obtain a CI Polygraph
Onsite 5 days a week at the Timberlake Federal Building (Downtown Tampa)

Qualifications (Primary):

Proficient in Python, ideally will know other languages like Java
Experienced in production level ETL pipelines development and deployment
Experienced in ETL pipeline tools, ideally Prefect or NiFi (Prefect is preferred)
Understanding of the data science process and experience with Exploratory Data Analysis

Qualifications (Secondary):

Experience in AI/ML model development
Experience with MLOps frameworks (MLFlow, BentoML)
Experience with GenAI development (LangChain, OLlama, etc)
Experience in working in High Side network environments (Clairvoyant)
