Operations Manager / Site Lead

General Description

The Operations Manager / Site Lead provides operational and technical leadership for a federal analytic support team. This position serves as a primary point of coordination for incoming client requirements, leads prioritization and work allocation, oversee analytic quality and production, supports capability development, and provides leadership and mentorship to a multidisciplinary team of analysts.

How You Will Fulfill Your Mission

• Lead the execution of operational and analytical support activities by ensuring client requirements are effectively prioritized, assigned, and delivered in accordance with mission objectives and performance standards.
• Direct the collection, integration, analysis, and interpretation of publicly available, commercial, client-provided, and multidisciplinary information to support mission planning and decision-making.
• Establish and maintain analytical processes, quality controls, and production standards that ensure timely delivery of accurate, defensible, and actionable products.
• Provide technical leadership in the application of quantitative, qualitative, network, geospatial, and temporal analysis techniques to solve complex operational challenges.
• Partner with client representatives and organizational leadership to identify emerging needs, resolve operational issues, and improve mission-support capabilities.
• Guide the professional development of analysts by providing mentorship, coaching, performance feedback, and opportunities for technical growth.
• Support the advancement of analytical capabilities through identification of new methodologies, technologies, data sources, and process improvements.
• Monitor team performance and program effectiveness through the development and review of metrics, assessments, activity reports, and executive-level briefings

• Must currently possess an active Top Secret security clearance and be eligible for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively while researching and managing multifaceted problem sets in a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading an analytic team supporting a federal government client or comparable complex mission.
• Expertise in acquiring, visualizing, and analyzing network, spatial, and temporal data.
• Strong critical-thinking and analytic tradecraft skills with the ability to communicate findings through written products, graphics, briefings, or other client-directed formats.
• Advanced experience with commercial and publicly available datasets used in federal, defense, law-enforcement, or comparable analytic environments.
• Advanced ability to integrate data from multiple sources and perform geospatial and network analysis.
• Experience with relevant analytic and geospatial tools such as Analyst's Notebook, ArcGIS Pro/ArcMap, Google Earth, or comparable platforms.
• Experience in data discovery, analytics, and fusion of Publicly Available Information (PAI) and Commercially Available Information (CAI).
• Demonstrated experience leading, prioritizing, and quality-controlling the work of an analytic team.

• Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to walk, sit, or stand for extended periods of time; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk or hear; have sufficient manual dexterity to operate a keyboard, calculator, telephone, and other such office equipment as necessary; may occasionally move and/or lift up to 50 pounds or more with assistance. Specific visual abilities required by the job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus.
