At Jones Edmunds, we help communities thrive through innovative engineering and consulting solutions. We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Project Manager with a passion for Water Resources Engineering to join our watershed and stormwater modeling team.


The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in stormwater hydrology, hydraulics, and water quality, with experience using Esri ArcGIS and stormwater modeling software.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage projects of varying scope and complexity in accordance with the Jones Edmunds Project Management Manual. 
  • Develop scopes, schedules, and fees for projects and additional services. 
  • Develop project plans and manage project performance, including scope, schedule, and budget. 
  • Negotiate fees and prepare contracts, including additional services. 
  • Select and oversee project teams, including engineers, scientists, technical staff, and subconsultants. 
  • Maintain accurate project plans, including labor projections, financial goals, and quality program planning. 
  • Communicate regularly with project teams and track progress relative to scope and deliverables. 
  • Conduct project meetings and present technical information to clients. 
  • Communicate with clients regarding project progress, challenges, and changes. 
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients and support business development efforts. 
  • Develop client proposals and support marketing activities. 
  • Ensure project documents are consistent with scope, schedule, and budget. 
  • Analyze data, identify problems, and implement appropriate solutions. 
  • Provide quality assurance and quality control in accordance with the Jones Edmunds Quality Program. 
  • Coordinate and manage quality control activities and documentation. 

Who You Are:

  • Education: BS in Engineering, Science, Architecture, Management, or related field 
  • Experience: Minimum 8+ years of progressive consulting or related experience as a Project Manager. 
  • Licensure: May require registration as a Florida Professional Engineer, Geologist, or Architect
  • Other: Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR.
