QA Analyst

Job DetailsJob Location: Tampa, FL 33607JOB SUMMARY The QA Analyst works with the Business Analyst and Development teams to ensure the delivery of quality applications to business users. The QA Analyst develops and executes formal test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for new or modified software programs to verify that the programs function according to user requirements and conform to established guidelines. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Develop, maintain, and execute test plans Perform manual verification of software applications Document and organize testing efforts Communicate, monitor, and follow-up on tasks and issues with the product teams Review and verify functional and system requirements and ensure project deliverables adhere to QA criteria and comply with the requirements before and after deployment Attend QA status and project planning meetings REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Proven experience in writing test plans Experience with cross-browser platforms Ability to follow up, investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve reported issues Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision Strong time management, organization, and attention-to-detail skills   Ability to adapt to new situations and learn quickly Experience with SQL or Mongo database verification Experience with API verification using Postman or other tools Experience with JIRA or other project tracking tools Experience working in an Agile or Kanban environment preferred EDUCATION & TRAINING AA degree in IT-related field or equivalent work experience in QA or software development field required; BA or BS degree preferred 3+ years of overall experience Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance experience highly preferred   To foster Exzeo’s commitment to creating a collaborative work environment, remote workers will be required to report to a central office location for one week every quarter for collaboration, team building, and educational exercises.  Exzeo offers 100% employer-paid health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance for employees, a flexible paid time off plan, a 401(k) match, and bonus potential.
