Position Summary

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Women’s Health to join our care team. This role provides specialized nursing care to women throughout their reproductive life cycle, including prenatal, labor and delivery, postpartum, and gynecological care. The RN works closely with Ob/Gyn physicians and advanced practice providers to ensure the health and well-being of patients in a non-hospital setting. Responsibilities include managing routine and high-risk cases, handling abnormal results, performing triage, coordinating care across multiple clinic sites, and supporting quality improvement and compliance initiatives.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Travel between multiple women’s health clinic sites to provide comprehensive nursing care

  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans

  • Review and manage abnormal test results; notify patients and coordinate follow-up care

  • Provide detailed explanations of abnormal results and guide patients on next steps

  • Perform triage assessments for urgent or emergent concerns, prioritizing care appropriately

  • Recognize and respond to obstetric and gynecological emergencies with provider notification

  • Coordinate with obstetric teams to ensure pre-procedure requirements are met

  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as ordered by providers

  • Assist with gynecological exams, prenatal care, and office-based procedures

  • Educate patients on reproductive health, contraception, pregnancy, postpartum care, and preventive health measures

  • Coordinate workflow of medical assistants to ensure efficient clinic operations

  • Facilitate communication among healthcare team members to promote collaborative care

  • Manage patient scheduling, follow-ups, and care coordination across sites

  • Maintain accurate records and adherence to clinic policies and procedures

  • Assist with supply and equipment maintenance at all locations

  • Participate in patient education programs and community outreach

  • Maintain proper tracking and reporting of OB patients

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) required

  • Current Florida license as a Registered Nurse (RN)

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Experience

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of clinical experience in obstetrics, gynecology, or community health setting

Please note that the employee’s initial training schedule may differ from the regular schedule of the position. All new hires, including part-time employees, must be available for up to 40 hours of in-person, on-site training during their first week. Additional mandatory training may continue for approximately two to three weeks, depending on the position and training requirements. Training may take place at a TFHC location other than the employee’s assigned work location.
