Job Overview
This is a Senior Planner position with the Development Services Department (Transportation Review Team). The ideal candidate shall have strong practical experience of at least two years in all aspects of site development review and land development rezoning proposals. The candidate shall have knowledge of transportation planning practices and experience doing public presentations to various groups. AICP certification is preferred but not required.
General qualifications:

Must be able to effectively manage a high volume, multiple deadline case load.

Strong practical experience in all aspects of site development review.

Experience reviewing and analyzing land development and rezoning proposals.

Experience drafting presentations and presenting to multiple stakeholders, including homeowners, industry representatives and elected officials.

Familiar with the Land Development Codes and Transportation Technical Manuals.

AICP certification preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in planning required, Master’s degree desirable.

Knowledgeable of Transportation Planning Practices.
