Job DetailsJob Location: Tampa Office - Tampa, FL 33602Position Type: Full TimeTravel Percentage: Up to 25%Job Shift: DayOverview of Role: OSPORTS | Osborn is looking for candidates with experience in working on high profile and unique architectural projects in the areas of Sports Architecture, Entertainment and Public Assembly.   Overview of the Company: OSPORTS, a division of Osborn Engineering, has a rich heritage of sports, entertainment planning, and design dating back to 1909, when the firm designed League Park, the first home of Cleveland's major league baseball team. Since then, we have designed and engineered numerous sports architecture icons including Yankee Stadium (1923), Fenway Park, Municipal Stadium, and Ohio Stadium just to name a few. Today our national Sports practice ranks inside the top 20 firms that focuses on the design of athletic facilities and entertainment venues.   As our practice grows, we are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager. This key role will engage all areas of our practice including planning, programming, design & visualization, and project development and execution.   Primary Responsibilities: Responsibility for managing all aspects of diverse project(s). Serves as primary liaison contact with the clients to bring projects to completion on schedule, within budget and with client satisfaction. Responsible for the coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to assure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects. Actively manages client’s budget, schedule and program as well as OSPORTS internal resources for success. Responsible for project communications and documentation. Provides oversight and monitoring of work to less experienced project managers. Coordinates work efforts and reviews work performed. Assist with scheduling and managing task and work loads of multiple design teams. Estimates fees, determines scope of work, and prepares proposals and contracts on the most complex projects. Responsible for training and mentoring of staff. Interface and report to the Director of OSPORTS and other Osborn project teams Lead and manage multi-discipline design teams • Peer Review of all construction documents, drawings and specifications, including all engineering disciplines • Lead/Mentor/Supervise Architectural Staff   Qualifications: • Must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture • Must have 12+ years of project architect experience within one or more of the following fields: Sports (stadiums, arenas, practice facilities, etc. or Entertainment studios • Must have strong understanding and knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, building construction, building systems, and site requirements • Architectural License is required • Excellent communication skills, able to have a solid working relationship with clients • Proficient in AutoCAD – required • Proficient in Photoshop – preferred • Proficient in current version of Revit Architecture – preferred • Proficient in Sketchup (or other 3D software) - preferred • Proficient in LEED – preferred Additional InformationWe are looking for candidates who have the following characteristics:   Reliable Team Player Self – Starter Positive Attitude Strong Work Ethic Critical Thinker Detail Oriented Innovative Good Communicator   EEO NOTE TO RECRUITERS: Osborn Engineering does not currently accept unsolicited resumes through or from search firms or recruiters.
