Position Summary
Â
Responsible for (1) receiving and staging incoming products from our suppliers, (2) pulling, recording, packing, and shipping outgoing products from our warehouse, and (3) packaging and shipping kits of loose components. When time permits, conducts inventory cycle counts, basic maintenance tasks. This role requires strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Tasks/Responsibilities
Â
- Pull and verify materials for customer orders against shipping pick ticket.
- Verify condition and accuracy of material count against shipping pick ticket.
- Package materials in appropriate container and enter shipping information into the appropriate UPS, FedEx or Redwood shipping portals.
- Confirm shipments in our P21 computer system.
- Assemble and package kits consisting of loose components, fabricate hose assemblies.
- Coordinate with inside sales to communicate and confirm shipping requirements.
- Receive product in, verifying accuracy of part numbers and counts.
- Support the filing of shipping and quality documentation in accordance with established procedures.
- Perform multi-step documentation tasks with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Assist in cycle counting of inventory as requested.
- Wear appropriate safety equipment as required and follow all company safety rules.
- Keep workstation clean at all times.
- Understand and follow all company rules and regulations.
- Perform all other duties as assigned or required.

- Warehousing procedures
- Receiving, inspecting, and issuing materials
- Packaging and documentation practices
- Operation of a fork-truck and other assigned vehicles and equipment
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy
- Able to work independently with little supervision

Preferred Experience/ Minimum Qualifications
Â
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- 2+ years of warehouse experience is required
- Ability to be certified in fork-truck training program, if not already certified.
- Experience with documentation handling and filing a plus
