Job Description:

As a Sr. Information Environment Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving success and innovation. Our work depends on a Sr. Information Environment Analyst joining our team to support a social media program in Tampa, FL. You will conduct social media research leveraging your cultural, linguistic, and professional experience to coordinate and synchronize operational activities in a cyber environment. You will support the on-site Manager in executing tasks and play a key role in planning and executing internet-based Military Information Support Operations (MISO) for government stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently and as an important member of the team.

HOW A SR. INFORMATION ENVIRONMENT ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Develops and maintains expertise with designated regional issues and draws upon publicly available online information resources.

  • Reads and analyzes regional and ideological discussions in specified foreign language online media environments.

  • Examines current media statements or postings to support trend analysis and identifies key communicators.

  • Demonstrates reading and analysis expertise in the assigned language and incorporates custom social media solutions to comprehend online environments and analyze trends effectively.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of online social media, technologies, and marketing, and documents activities.

  • Monitors the status and growth of information communication technologies to make recommendations for technological changes or improvements to the program.

  • Applies linguistic and cultural expertise for quality control purposes.

  • Synthesizes information and presents briefings at the senior decision-maker level.

  • May manage deadlines or product workflows, provide constructive criticism, and leadership to other team members.

  • Reviews, verifies, and validates the work of others from a product quality control perspective.

  • Coordinates trans-regional actions, planning, and execution of internet-based MISO Operations within all requesting government stakeholders.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related business or technical discipline required; significant experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Experience:

  • 7+ years of professional experience.

  • OSINT experience preferred.

  • Military or Department of Defense experience preferred.

Security Clearance Level:

  • SECRET clearance required; accepted candidates will be submitted for TS as demand changes.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to read, write, and understand the language specific to the AOR supported; select candidates will be language-tested.

  • Strong English written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Ability to synthesize information and present briefings at the senior decision-maker level.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and multi-cultural environment.

  • Ability to manage deadlines, workflows, and provide leadership and quality control.

  • Customer Site (Tampa, FL).

The likely salary range for this position is $97,750 - $132,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
