Teaching Laboratory Specialist

Position Summary:

Responsible for the preparation of reagents and the setting up of equipment for the use of students in the undergraduate teaching laboratories. Responsible for the daily disbursement and return of equipment used by the students in the teaching laboratories. Perform demonstrations of the instruments that are utilized by the students, and provide the necessary information for the teaching assistants in order for the laboratories to run in a smoothly and safely manner. This position may include working hours after 5 pm.
