Principal Accountabilities:

  • Lead and promote safety, food safety, quality standards, and housekeeping practices
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for management initiatives, work orders, and team communications
  • Safely and efficiently operate site equipment, including bagging machines, shipping systems, and motorized vehicles
  • Support onboarding of new employees and contractors, and deliver ongoing training through daily shift handoffs and safety meetings
  • Perform approximately 50% of the same tasks as the team being supervised
  • Ensure full compliance with all safety rules and regulations

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, or different shifts, with advance notice
  • Have a valid driver’s license or ID
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in production-related work
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Forklift certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Computer skills for data entry related to label production, and the ability to monitor inventory and shipment completion; experience with warehouse/shipping systems, SAP, or inventory management software
  • Experience operating and troubleshooting industrial equipment (e.g., packaging machinery)
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in a positive and professional manner
  • Consistently demonstrates strong safety leadership
  • Ability to understand and communicate in Spanish (verbal/written)
  • Front-end loader experience
