About the Role:

The Human Resource Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the HR department by managing and streamlining various administrative and operational functions. This position ensures the smooth execution of recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance activities, contributing to a positive and productive workplace environment. The coordinator acts as a liaison between employees and management, facilitating clear communication and timely resolution of HR-related inquiries. By maintaining accurate employee records and assisting with benefits administration, the role supports organizational efficiency and employee satisfaction. Ultimately, the Human Resource Coordinator helps drive the company’s talent management strategy and fosters a culture of continuous improvement and engagement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience in an HR support or administrative role.
  • Proficiency with HR information systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with onboarding new employees by preparing documentation, conducting orientations, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Coordinate and manage the recruitment process including job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Maintain and update employee records in HR information systems with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs, escalating complex issues to senior HR staff as needed.
  • Assist in organizing employee engagement activities, training sessions, and performance review processes.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations by supporting audits and reporting requirements.
