Open Auditions:

You must attend an in person audition on Tuesday, December 30th @ 4pm to be considered for this role.

Check-In Location: 3605 East Bougainvillea Ave - Human Resources Building

no applicants will be accepted past 4pm

Please prepare 16 measures of a pop selection and 16 measures of a jazz selection

What you get to do:

• Perform 4-6 theater shows per daily schedule to include special functions, rehearsals, and recordings
• Participate in maintaining Busch Gardens cleanliness standards
• Provide and maintain specific instrument including working condition and appearance
• Perform all other duties as assigned

What it takes to succeed:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to sight read music
• Outgoing and friendly personality- versatile and ability to improvise
• Outstanding performance and showmanship while performing set musical selections
• Flexible with work hours and working conditions
• Willingness to own and keep instrument in working condition
• High School graduate (preferred)
• Communicate professionally and effectively with ambassadors and guests
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 30 lbs. on a frequent basis
• Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights (if needed/required)
• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying Florida weather, to include extreme heat. Position may be exposed to fumes, dust, odors and cold/heat temperature extremes and theatrical elements
• Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks(use of tools/keyboard/writing)
• Perform all cleaning duties; including use of cleaning chemicals
• Must be flexible in work locations as placement will depend on business needs and career development opportunities
