Position Summary
We are seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to support both clinical and administrative functions across our care teams. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting providers and ensuring efficient clinic operations.
Essential Responsibilities
- Document patient information accurately in the EHR (EPIC)
- Complete intake for new and returning patients
- Prepare patients and assist providers during exams
- Administer vaccines and perform basic clinical procedures
- Draw blood and complete screenings as directed
- Participate in daily huddles and support care team coordination
- Schedule follow-ups and assist with patient flow
- Address barriers to care and support treatment compliance
- Maintain clean, stocked, and compliant exam rooms
- Process and route tasks in a timely manner
- Follow all HIPAA, OSHA, and regulatory guidelines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program with Diploma
- Current BLS certification
Experience
- Minimum of 6 months of Medical Assistant experience
or - Currently enrolled in a medical, nursing, or EMT program
Skills & Abilities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Proficient in EHR systems and Microsoft Office
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Please note that employee's initial training schedule may differ from the regular schedule of the position. All new hires, including part-time employees, must be available for up to 40 hours of in-person, on-site training during their first week. Additional Mandatory training may continue for approximately two to three weeks, depending on the position and training requirements. Training may take place at a TFHC location other than the employees assigned work location.
Flexible hours, averaging 25 hours per week.
