Environmental Science Intern

Overview

Kimley-Horn is looking for Geology/Environmental Science students to join our Tampa, Florida (FL) office! This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment.
• Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards.
• The opportunity to gain knowledge in one or more of the following: site assessment regulations, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, surface water quality regulations, landfills, redevelopment program a plus.
• Some travel may be required (approximately 10%).

Qualifications

• In the process of receiving a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Geology, Biology, Environmental Science, or other related majors
