Engineer I - Drainage

RK&K is currently hiring a Drainage Engineer for our team in Tampa, FL. As a Drainage Engineer with RK&K, your responsibilities will include design and analysis of drainage facilities. Projects will include, but not be limited to new roadways, widenings, resurfacings, and multimodal improvements.  
Essential Functions 

• Basin delineations and runoff calculations 

• H&H modeling support, GIS analysis 

• Prepare drainage maps, storm drain layouts, cross sections, and detail sheets 

• Calculate quantities and prepare construction cost estimates  

• Support preparation of design documentation 

• Support preparation of spread calculations, ditch calculations, storm tabulations, etc. 

• H&H modeling support, GIS analysis 

• Work with other disciplines on creative solutions to design challenges 

Required Skills & Experience 

• Zero (0) to Two (2) years of experience in drainage design  

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field 

• Engineering Intern (E.I.) license in FL or ability to obtain within six (6) months  

Preferred Skills & Experience   

• Open Roads Designer 

• ArcPro
