Position Description: 
The Benefits Account Executive oversees and nurtures relationships with clients and brokers, serving as a strategic partner for all benefit-related needs. This individual manages the full scope of each client’s benefits program and acts as the primary point of contact for benefit administration, service resolution, and growth opportunities. They support Clients, Worksite Employees, Brokers, and Insurance Vendors and play a key leadership role within the Benefits team. ‑related needs. Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Provide a high-level consultative insight and strategic direction to key brokers and clients, identifying and driving opportunities for retention and growth.
  • ‑Establish and reinforce client expectations through proactive, strategic communication and reliable follow‑through, driving confidence and long‑term account stability.
  • Develop and mentor Benefits Specialists by providing strategic guidance on daily responsibilities and advancing their long‑term professional development. ‑to‑day responsibilities and professional
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with benefit vendors and carriers.
  • Deliver high‑quality presentations and employee consultations to ensure a clear understanding of available benefit options and strategic plan offerings.
  • Direct the end‑to‑end renewal process, ensuring strategic alignment and maintaining high‑level communication and collaboration with clients and brokers
  • Participate continuously in the medical underwriting process with internal partners.
  • Investigate and resolve employee and client concerns related to:
    • Claims
    • Eligibility
    • Billing
    • Coverage
    • COBRA
Required Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple renewals simultaneously
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
  • Thorough understanding of employee group benefits, including COBRA
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to upsell additional product offerings
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong computer proficiency and adaptability to new systems
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems; Salesforce and Prism preferred
Required Experience:
  • Minimum of five years of client facing and/or sales experience in group employee benefits‑facing and/or sales experience in group employee benefits
  • Strong understanding of group health plans, including the ability to analyze and develop recommendations
  • Experience in a consultative and strategic role
  • Health and Life License required
  • Minimum of three years of PEO experience required
  • Broker experience required
  • Demonstrated experience in relationship building and strategic consultative environments‑building and strategic consultative environments
