We are looking for a highly motivated Warehouse Assistant in the Tampa, FL area to join our team.

We are currently offering a competitive pay range for this full-time position, Monday through Friday. (In-person)

We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Assistant to facilitate the smooth completion of construction projects. You will ensure that every construction site or job has an adequate and timely flow of materials and equipment. A construction expeditor must be a well-organized individual able to multitask. You should possess great communication skills and ability to solve problems. Experience in construction will be very useful as knowledge of basic purchasing and technical principles.

Key Responsibilities: 

Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, condition, and documentation.

Unload, organize, and store products in designated areas within the warehouse.

Pick and pack orders accurately, ensuring items are prepared for shipment.

Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.

Label, tag, and organize products to optimize space and accessibility.

Maintain inventory control through regular cycle counts and stock checks.

Prepare shipping documentation, such as packing slips, invoices, and shipping labels.

Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.

Follow all safety procedures and policies to maintain a safe work environment.

Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.

Report any discrepancies, damages, or issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.

Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to lift heavy objects (up to [50] pounds).

Good communication and team collaboration skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.

Basic math skills for inventory management.
