Job DetailsJob Location: Anthony House - Mt Dora, FL 32757Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolSalary Range: $15.00Job Shift: NightJob Purpose: - The Residential Specialist - Shift 3 at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for providing comprehensive support and supervision to residents during the assigned shift. This role is pivotal in ensuring a safe, supportive, and structured environment that promotes the well-being and personal development of individuals within the residential program. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and monitor residents to ensure safety and adherence to program rules and guidelines. - Facilitate and support daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and recreational activities. - Implement individualized care plans and document residents' progress and any incidents during the shift. - Collaborate with other staff members to provide consistent and comprehensive care. - Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques when necessary. - Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. - Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to residential care. - Foster a positive and therapeutic environment that encourages resident engagement and participation. QualificationsRequired Education: - High school diploma or equivalent required. Required Experience: - At least one year work experience in a residential program and/or human services-related field. Equivalent training and experience on a year-for-year basis in a related field will be considered. Required Skills and Abilities: - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to work effectively in a team environment. - Proficiency in using computer systems and software related to documentation and reporting. - Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally. - Knowledge of mental health disorders and therapeutic approaches. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
