JOB DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS:
路 Will remove material from stock working from order cut schedules and written instructions; spooling and cutting finished cables to length per customer needs.
路 Visually inspects cable for damages and/or short lengths advising supervision of any deficiency.
路 Will be responsible to aide in the packaging and lagging of reels in preparation for shipping.
At times will be required to aid in loading truck or be a spotter during loading.
路 Will perform preventive maintenance procedures, 6S activities and participate in continuous improvement events.
路 Must always maintain work area in a safe and orderly condition.
路 Ensure all products meet requirements as defined by the Plant鈥檚 Quality Management Systems.
路 Comply with all applicable safety procedures and ISO14001 EMS guidelines.
路 Will be required to work overtime as needed.
路 Other duties as assigned by supervisor or a member of management.
Requirements:
Education:
路 High School diploma or equivalent
路 Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English.
Experience:
路 Some manufacturing experience or proven/demonstrated mechanical ability.
路 Must complete on job training (OJT) for specific job classification as required in a timely manner.
Skills/Attributes:
路 Must be able to use pneumatic tools, such as air nail guns and hand drills.
路 Must be able to train for forklift licensed or certification.
路 Must be able to work independently according to verbal and written instructions.
路 Must learn basic computer transactions and inputs; must have ability to become certified SAP User.
路 Must have basic math and communication skills. Must develop and maintain proficiency in required job skills.
路 Must be capable of lifting or moving 50 lbs. and occasionally lifting or moving 75 lbs.
路 Must be able to distinguish different colors
Wage Range: $20.88 to $24.66
