As an Account Manager, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to commercial insurance clients, helping them protect their businesses through proactive account management, responsive service, and strategic coverage guidance. This role is central to building long-term client relationships while ensuring accounts are managed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with each client's goals.
You'll partner closely with clients, producers, carrier partners, and internal team members to manage renewals, policy changes, claims reporting, and ongoing service needs. Success in this role comes from combining strong insurance knowledge with exceptional client service, attention to detail, and a consultative approach to problem-solving.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, delivering proactive service and building strong client relationships that support retention and growth.
  • Guide clients through policy renewals, endorsements, audits, cancellations, and coverage changes while ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
  • Collaborate with producers to prepare proposals, applications, and renewal strategies that align coverage with client objectives.
  • Educate clients on coverages, exclusions, exposures, and risk management considerations, helping them make informed insurance decisions.
  • Coordinate with carrier partners to market and remarket business, evaluate coverage options, and secure competitive solutions.
  • Support claims reporting, policy documentation, certificates, binders, and related service requests to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and connect clients with additional resources and solutions that support their evolving needs.

What You Bring

Day One:

  • 3+ years of Property & Casualty account management experience or 4+ years of commercial lines insurance industry experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to obtain a Property & Casualty Insurance License within three months of hire.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance coverages, policy servicing, renewals, endorsements, and carrier processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related business applications.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Valuable Additions:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Active Property & Casualty Insurance License.
  • CIC, CPCU, MAIA, or similar insurance industry designations.
  • Experience with agency management systems and electronic insurance workflows.
  • Previous experience supporting marketing efforts, proposal preparation, and renewal strategy development.
  • Proven success identifying cross-selling opportunities and deepening client relationships.
