Customer Pickup - Merchandise Processor

Jordan's is looking for motivated team members to join our busy Customer Pickup & Merchandise Processing Team in our Taunton, MA Distribution Center. In this fast-paced warehouse role, you'll help prepare, move, retrieve, and load furniture for customer pick up, shuttle operations, and sample merchandise. You'll work directly with customers, operate warehouse equipment, and play an important role in ensuring our merchandise is handled safely and efficiently.

No equipment experience? We've got you covered! Jordan's provides valuable on-the-job training with room to grow.

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay: $20.00 per hour

Responsibilities we will trust you to perform

• Select and receive merchandise using RF scanner technology.
• Work directly with customers in the Customer Pickup area and assist with loading and securing merchandise onto customer vehicles.
• Pick, prepare, repackage, and relocate merchandise as needed.
• Assist Web Photography and other teams by moving and positioning merchandise.
• Load merchandise onto shuttle trailers in a manner that minimizes damage and maximizes trailer space.
• Prepare sample merchandise for viewing and evaluation, including assisting with mattress processing for testing programs.
• Label and track cancelled, refused, and partial delivery merchandise to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Utilize warehouse management systems to process assignments and verify inventory.
• Document, relocate, and verify merchandise as needed.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any safety concerns or mechanical issues.
• Use and maintain tools and equipment in accordance with company and OSHA safety standards.
• Maintain established departmental productivity and safety goals.

• Ability to lift, pull, push, and safely move furniture weighing up to 110 pounds.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Reliability and ability to meet daily department goals.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to work at heights of 35 to 50 feet.
• Ability to become certified through Jordan's Crown Lift Training Program.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening. Don't worry, you can do it!
