| SUMMARY Daily running of manufacturing equipment (extrusion) as well as other duties typical of manufacturing. |
| Â PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - Start up and shut down of all production and manufacturing equipment as required.
- Repair of all production and manufacturing equipment as required.
- Responsible for quality of product being produced. Attention to detail and work within company quality system (ISO 9001 and ISO 13485).
- Package finished product for storage and shipping according to standards (labeling, product counts, boxing, shrink wrapping).
- Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Complete daily logs as needed (production run sheets, quality control records, packaging request, production reporting, etc.).
- Documentation per Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Training provided.
- Perform preventive maintenance on production lines and packaging equipment as scheduled.
- Operate forklift (if required after training).
- Communicate with operators from other shifts as well as engineers and quality and same shift employees.
- Clean and maintain work area.
- Follow all safety rules.
- Use required Personal Protective Equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.

| ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Â - Perform back up for coworkers when necessary.
- Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
- Maintain material supply adhering to just in time manufacturing principles. Notify purchasing when shipping and manufacturing supplies are running low.

| Â KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS - High school/vocational school diploma (additional trade skills are a plus).
- Computer skills.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift up to 51 lbs.
