Warehouse Baler Operator

Do you like staying busy all day and working independently? Jordan's Furniture is looking for a  team player to work in our busy QC and Returns departments. This position is located in Taunton, MA and the hours of this position are: Monday - Friday; 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.

Pay Range: $18.00 per hour.

What we trust you to do:

●Transfers trash and recyclable material to the compactor/baler area and maintains a clean     work area.

●Separates recyclable material from trash.

●Operates all machinery used to handle trash or recycled material.

●Loads/unloads Junk bedding, Shuttle, Receiving and Recycling trailers.

●Handles, repackages, and moves returned merchandise

●Sorts, transports, processes recycling material and disposes all trash generated from the department’s daily operations

●Assist with the overall cleanliness of the DC by ensuring floor is clear of recycling debris

●Uses and maintains tools and equipment in accordance with company and OSHA safety standards

●Any other function or responsibility as assigned by the Supervisor

What you bring to the table:

●0-6 months of related experience or equivalent education/experience

●Must be able to solely and safely lift and move materials up to 110 lbs.

●Must be certified through company Crown Lift Training Program to safely operate forklift and     Pallet Jack equipment

●Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English
