Alto Tavares is hiring a Full-Time Kitchen Porter / Dishwasher to join our culinary team in one of Central Florida's most charming lakeside communities. With shifts that end by 7pm and a full benefits package, this is a kitchen role that actually takes care of you.

Shift Schedule:

Early Shift | 7:00am–3:00pm
Afternoon Shift | 3:00pm–7:00pm
Combined to meet full-time hours

What You'll Do:

• Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, flatware, and utensils throughout every shift
• Properly maintain all dishwashing equipment
• Set tables, bus tables, and support dining room setup and breakdown
• Assist the culinary team with meal service and kitchen tasks as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
• Be a dependable, team-first presence in a well-run kitchen

What We're Looking For:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• 6+ months of food service or kitchen experience — preferred
• Dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented
• Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
• Must pass a background screening

The primary responsibility of the Kitchen Assistant is to set tables, bus tables, wash dishes, assist the Cook as needed, and complete cleaning duties.

Areas of Responsibility

• Thoroughly wash all dishes, cookware, flatware, and utensils.
• Properly maintain all dishwashing equipment.
• Work as part of the Dining Services team to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operation of the kitchen.
• Help contribute to high quality Dining Services operations by paying attention to food presentation and taste, and courteous responses to residents and associates during meal service.

Required Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Must have an awareness of safety practices.
• Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
• The Community is a drug free workplace.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of six (6) months food service (or related field) preferred.
