Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm & Suppression Technician (Mechanical / Low Voltage) to support installation work on semiconductor process equipment at a major project site in Taylor, TX. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong mechanical and/or low voltage background who are comfortable working in a structured, high-spec environment such as data centers or industrial facilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Cut, bend, and install up to 1" stainless steel tubing for discharge piping systems
  • Perform low voltage wiring for alarm, detection devices, and control panels
  • Read and interpret layouts, schematics, and installation instructions
  • Work closely with supervisors and team members to complete installations safely and efficiently
  • Maintain compliance with all safety standards and site requirements


Requirements

  • Experience with mechanical installation, plumbing, or pipefitting (stainless steel preferred)
  • Experience with low voltage wiring and controls
  • Background in fire suppression systems or similar mechanical/electrical systems is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-spec environment (data center or industrial experience preferred)
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow structured installation procedures
  • Ability to work on-site in Taylor, TX

Nice to Have:

  • Experience installing high-pressure CO2 fire suppression systems
  • Experience with system commissioning, testing, and final verification
  • Prior work on semiconductor or mission-critical project
