Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm & Suppression Technician (Mechanical / Low Voltage) to support installation work on semiconductor process equipment at a major project site in Taylor, TX. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong mechanical and/or low voltage background who are comfortable working in a structured, high-spec environment such as data centers or industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Cut, bend, and install up to 1" stainless steel tubing for discharge piping systems
Perform low voltage wiring for alarm, detection devices, and control panels
Read and interpret layouts, schematics, and installation instructions
Work closely with supervisors and team members to complete installations safely and efficiently
Maintain compliance with all safety standards and site requirements

Requirements

Experience with mechanical installation, plumbing, or pipefitting (stainless steel preferred)
Experience with low voltage wiring and controls
Background in fire suppression systems or similar mechanical/electrical systems is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-spec environment (data center or industrial experience preferred)
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow structured installation procedures
Ability to work on-site in Taylor, TX

Nice to Have:

Experience installing high-pressure CO2 fire suppression systems
Experience with system commissioning, testing, and final verification
Prior work on semiconductor or mission-critical project
