Junior Network Technician

We are looking for a Junior Network Technician to support the IT team in maintaining and troubleshooting network infrastructure. This role is ideal for candidates starting their IT career or with at least 2 year of experience in networking.
Job Description
- Assist in installing and configuring network devices (switches, routers, firewalls)
- Support LAN/WAN and wireless networks under supervision
- Monitor network performance and report issues to senior engineers
- Assist with network upgrades and basic maintenance
- Maintain documentation for network configurations and procedures
- Work collaboratively with the IT team
Qualifications
- 2+ year of experience in networking or IT support
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts and devices
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Familiarity with network cabling, switches, routers, and wireless access points
- Basic knowledge of Windows or Linux operating systems
- IT certifications such as CompTIA Network+ a plus
- Interest in growing into Mid-Level Network Technician roles
