Job DetailsJob Location: Hancock and Moore Plant 1 - Taylorsville, NC 28681Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: DayPosition Summary: Position is responsible for applying finishing materials to hides and upholstered leather furniture to achieve designated antique and/or decorative finishes. Position Details: Responsible for ensuring that work is performed in a consistent manner and that results in defect-free products Reads and understands work orders Masks off certain areas on pieces before applying finishing materials Inspects product for quality   QualificationsPosition Requirements: High school diploma or GED preferred Previous burnishing experience preferred Must have an eye for color and an ability to attain the desired look for hide/item May be required to work at other locations occasionally Physical Requirements: Standing and walking throughout 9 hour shift Using arms and hand to apply material; rubbing hides Works with a variety of finishing materials Lifts hides onto tables; up to 50 lbs.
