Job DetailsJob Location: Hancock and Moore Plant 3 - Taylorsville, NC 28681Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: DayPosition Summary: Position is responsible for applying finishing touches on furniture parts/product and inspecting for quality craftsmanship. Position Details: Finish sanding of solid woods and veneers as needed Cleans furniture parts/product as needed Blends shapes on frames, doors and drawer fronts with hand air tools Fills in defects with epoxy Inspects parts and product with inspection light, identifying any defects Observes plant safety rules Keeps work area clean and is quality conscious in performing duties Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor QualificationsPosition Requirements: High school diploma or GED preferred Previous inspection/repair experience preferred Physical Requirements: The physical demands and work environment expectations described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
