About the Role
High Point Residence Taylorville is seeking compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team.
As a CNA, you will provide hands-on care and daily support to residents while promoting dignity, independence, comfort, and quality of life. You will work closely with our nursing and wellness teams to ensure each resident receives personalized care in accordance with their individual care plan.
We are looking for team members who genuinely enjoy working with older adults and are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other personal care needs.
Support residents during meals and assist with feeding as needed.
Take and record vital signs as directed.
Safely assist with resident transfers, mobility, repositioning, and ambulation.
Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance.
Observe residents and communicate changes in condition, concerns, or needs to the nursing team.
Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident rooms and care areas.
Change bed linens, restock resident supplies, and assist with maintaining a comfortable environment.
Follow resident care plans, community policies, and established safety procedures.
Work collaboratively with nurses, caregivers, and other departments to provide an exceptional resident experience.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Wellness Director or nursing leadership.
Qualifications
Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
Compassionate and respectful approach to working with older adults.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
Ability to safely assist residents with mobility, transfers, and personal care needs.
Previous experience in senior living, assisted living, supportive living, memory care, or long-term care is preferred.
