Description


  • The Production Planner will be responsible for efficiently scheduling and coordinating manufacturing processes to meet production goals and customer demands.
  • Potential Travel Requirements: 5% Domestic: 100% International: 0%
  • Job Responsibilities/Key Accountabilities: 
  • Develop and maintain production schedules to optimize resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely availability of raw materials, work in progress, and resources.
  • Generate and provide work orders to production.
  • Establish due dates for each step of production.
  • Update ERP to track progress of production activities, including planned hours, task completion, etc.
  • Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to meet changing demands.
  • Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Communicate with internal and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to resolve any production issues and delays.
  • Generate regular reports on production performance and adherence to schedules.
  • Coordinate internal and external quality inspections.

Requirements


  1. Proven experience as a Production Planner in a manufacturing setting preferred.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  3. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  4. Experience working in a manufacturing environment producing custom products would be a plus.
  5. Excellent organization skills.
  6. Operate within a fast paced environment with a strong skillset in prioritizing tasks.
  7. Experience with Excel, Word and other Microsoft products.
  8. Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
  9. Operate within the manufacturing environment.

Educational Requirements/Degree(s):

High school diploma required.
