R. Joe Harris & Associates, Inc., is looking for a Survey Technician to join our team and support our licensed surveyors and civil engineers in producing accurate, detailed survey drawings for a variety of land development and infrastructure projects. 

What You'll Do

  • Draft boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, as-builts, and construction surveys using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Import, process, and organize field survey data.
  • Prepare plats, maps, and legal exhibits that meet company, client, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with field crews, surveyors, and engineers to ensure data accuracy and drawing quality.
  • Apply survey standards, layering, and CAD templates consistently across projects. 

What We're Looking For

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Strong understanding of survey data, coordinates, and legal descriptions. 
  • Attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a team-oriented environment.
