Role Overview

Pharmacy First Health is redefining rural healthcare by transforming community pharmacies into integrated care hubs. We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Tekoa, WA! This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about healthcare and looking to grow within a supportive, patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the pharmacist in accurately filling and dispensing prescription medications.

  • Receive and process prescription orders from patients, physicians, and healthcare providers.

  • Manage and maintain pharmacy inventory, including receiving deliveries, stocking shelves, and flagging low-supply items.

  • Handle point-of-sale transactions, process insurance claims, and assist patients with billing questions.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment in accordance with state and federal regulations.

  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients to answer general inquiries and direct complex questions to the pharmacist.

  • Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements at all times.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent (required).

  • Possession of or willingness to obtain applicable state pharmacy technician registration or licensure as required by state law.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working directly with patients.

  • Basic computer proficiency; experience with pharmacy software is a plus but not required.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and manage a busy, team-oriented workspace.
