Summary: This position is responsible for independently supporting and improving manufacturing processes, ensuring production efficiency, quality, and the ability to meet manufacturing schedules and growth targets.

Essential Functions of the Job: The essential functions of this job require the person, with or without reasonable accommodation, to perform the following:

•Lead development and optimization of new and existing production processes to improve efficiency, capacity, and cost.

•Lead complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production and quality issues.

•Develop and implement process flows, layouts, and line strategies for new or transferred production lines.

•Play a lead technical role in supplier evaluation including capability assessment, tolerances, and tooling design review.

•Lead Continuous Improvement (CIP) and Lean initiatives with measurable business impact.

•Coordinate and drive updates to process documentation and standardization efforts.

•Lead capital equipment selection, implementation, and validation activities.

•Provide technical guidance to entry – level engineers and cross-functional teams.

•Use required software tools including SAP, CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar), and Microsoft Office applications.

•Perform all other duties as assigned.


MRPII-related (SAP) activities this position supports include:

•Process routing ownership and optimization

•Capacity planning and line balancing

•Work center cost and performance analysis


Recommended Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; or minimum 5–10 years related experience; or a combination of the two.

Strong knowledge of Lean principles and manufacturing systems (preferred).
